The Research Centers in Minority Institutions (RCMI) Translational Research Network (RTRN) agenda covers the entire spectrum of translational research: from bench to bedside, to clinical trials and to everyday practice. We are focused on increasing the number of collaborative research projects, increasing the number of collaborative publications and increasing the number of collaborative proposals of federal-and non-government-funded research endeavors.
The RTRN Research Coordinating Center (RCC) Division of Implementation (I), at Morehouse School of Medicine, offers comprehensive services and support to strengthen and expand capabilities for collaborative, multi-site clinical trials and community-partnered translational research on diseases that disproportionately affect under served ethnic minority and geographically remote populations. The Division also provides research training and site readiness assessments, as needed.
The RCCI is focused on four initiatives while creating an avenue for research revenue diversification: Research Readiness Assessment, Industry Partnership, Clinical Trials Training and Clinical Trials Management.
